Create Your First Nichevio Profile

Getting Started · 4 min read

In short

Sign up, name your Workspace, then choose Create your first profile on the Home screen. Nichevio asks a few questions, builds a starter Profile with a template and recommended Widgets, and shows a short checklist to finish before you publish.

Before you start

  • An email address you can open now; Nichevio signs you in with a six-digit code sent to it.
  • Which kind of Profile you need: Individual (a professional or a creator) or Business (a shop, restaurant, service business or supplier).
  • No plan is needed. Every family starts on a Free plan.

Steps

  1. Create your accountOpen nichevio.com and choose Create Your Profile. Enter your email and the six-digit code we send you. If you already have an account, use Sign In instead.
  2. Name your WorkspaceThe Workspace is the home for everything you build. Its Workspace Username becomes your dashboard address. The screen says it plainly: “This is your dashboard address, not your public link.” Your public Profile gets a separate address in step 4.
  3. Choose Create your first profileOn Home, the card reads “Answer a few questions — we’ll build a polished, mobile-first starter for you.” Pick the Profile type (Professional, Creator or Business), the category where asked, and what you want visitors to do. Nichevio applies a template and adds the recommended Widgets for that type.
  4. Choose your Profile addressYour public link is nichevio.com/yourname. Addresses are subject to availability; shorter names read better on cards and in bios.
  5. Finish the checklistThe Profile overview lists Template applied, Basic info added, Recommended Widgets added, Add a contact method and Publish your profile. Open the Builder to add a contact method, then publish when you are ready.

What to expect

  • A draft Profile in your Workspace. Nothing is public until you choose Publish profile.
  • The Builder on the left, a live phone preview on the right, and the Widgets the starter added already in place.
  • You can create more Profiles later from Profiles › New profile; each Profile has its own plan.

Troubleshooting and limitations

The address I want is takenAddresses are first come, first served and subject to availability. Try a shorter variant or add your city. Reserved names, brand terms and misleading names are not available.
I chose the wrong Profile typeCreate a new Profile of the right type from Profiles. Individual and Business Profiles have different Widgets, so a Profile cannot be switched between families.
Publishing on the Free planYour first Workspace can keep one published Individual Free Profile and one published Business Free Profile at a time. Additional Profiles publish on a paid plan.
Workspace Username vs Profile addressThey are different things. The Workspace Username is private to your dashboard; the Profile address is the public link. Changing one does not change the other.
