Nichevio Security and Privacy Practices
Practical answers about what is public, what is private, how access works and how payments and payment evidence are handled. This page explains how the product behaves; it is not a replacement for the Privacy Policy or the Terms.
What information appears on a public Profile?
Only what you publish. The Widgets you add to the page and the content inside them: your name, headline, services, menu or catalog items, prices and availability, opening hours, locations and the contact details you choose to show.
Forms show their fields, not their submissions. A visitor never sees other visitors’ inquiries, bookings, subscriptions or Orders.
Published Articles appear at nichevio.com/yourname/articles. Drafts stay in your dashboard.
Your Workspace Username, your team, your Records and your billing are never part of the public page.
What information belongs in the private dashboard?
Records: every lead, booking request, subscriber, Order and request for quotation submitted through your Profile, with the visitor’s details, status, timeline and your internal notes (on Pro and higher).
Payment evidence: a customer’s payment claim and any proof they attach to an Order. It is visible only to team members with the permission to view evidence and never appears in notification previews.
Team, roles and permissions; billing and plan information; domain and tracking settings.
A visitor who submits a form or an Order sees their own confirmation and, for Orders, a protected status page for that Order. They do not get access to your dashboard.
How do Account and Workspace access relate?
Your Account is your sign-in identity: an email address. Nichevio signs you in with a one-time six-digit code sent to that email; there is no password to store or leak. Each code works once and expires in 10 minutes. If you have set up additional security on your account, such as an authenticator app, you complete that verification after the email code.
A Workspace is where your Profiles live. It has an Owner and can have team members with the roles Manager, Team member and Viewer. Roles decide what a person can edit and publish.
Sensitive payment actions are narrower than roles: viewing payment evidence, confirming payments and configuring payment methods are separate permissions, limited to a Branch scope where relevant. A role alone does not grant them, and a plan never grants a person permission.
How should I understand payment instructions and payment evidence?
There are two unrelated kinds of payment. Your Nichevio subscription is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record for Nichevio plans. Payments that your customers make to your business follow your own instructions and go to you; Nichevio does not hold or move that money.
On Business Growth you choose the methods you accept: Manual UPI, Bank Transfer, pay on fulfilment or your own instructions. Nichevio shows them to the customer after an Order is saved and records what happens next.
A customer can say they have paid and attach proof. That changes the Order’s payment status to Awaiting your confirmation; the Order and fulfilment status do not change. A claim or proof does not confirm payment automatically: an authorised member of your team confirms it, and the decision is recorded with their name and time.
The optional WhatsApp button opens a prepared message in the customer’s own WhatsApp. Nichevio cannot see whether it was sent or delivered, and it changes no status.
Where can I find privacy information or report a concern?
The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service are linked in the footer of every page and describe your rights and our obligations. Where this page and those documents differ, the documents apply.
To report spam, phishing, impersonation or misuse of a Nichevio Profile, use Report Abuse. You do not need an account.
For a security concern about your own account, contact us through the Contact page with “Account or product support” as the type.
Never share a sign-in code, card details, UPI PIN or banking password with anyone claiming to be Nichevio. We do not ask for them.
Two Kinds of Payment, Kept Apart
